Kingsburg

The Crestwood Kingsburg Healing Center provides innovative programs that are based on Crestwood’s commitment to providing the people we serve a continuum of care that puts them on the road to recovery. At Crestwood Kingsburg Healing Center, persons served participate in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), a modified cognitive-behavioral treatment that is the only evidence-based practice to prevent suicide. DBT also assists persons served in learning skills to help them regulate their emotional responses to situations that occur in their lives. Alongside DBT, persons served benefit from an array of classes designed to empower them as they receive mental health support, and get the opportunity to create and maintain a Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP). WRAP is a self-help, recovery treatment system designed to decrease negative mental health symptoms, increase personal responsibility, and improve quality of life.

The mission of the Crestwood Kingsburg Healing Center is to provide an alternative to traditional psychiatric care by providing a recovery-oriented milieu that emphasizes collaboration, empowerment, peer providers, family partners, and a cultivated healing environment. In providing persons served with comprehensive recovery services, we can maintain the structure and support required to promote stabilization and foster recovery in the lives of those we serve.

Kingsburg Healing Center

At Crestwood Kingsburg Healing Center, we provide individuals with access to a wide range of wellness tools and staff support to assist them in recovering with an enhanced sense of resilience. Our mission is to restore hope, empowerment, community, and psychiatric stabilization in each person served seeking help while on their recovery journey.

Community reintegration strategies and dual recovery are key tenets of our MHRC program. Our reintegration practices are designed for persons served who need help developing some of the basic life skills necessary to thrive as they return to their communities. We accomplish successful reintegration through various modalities including classes, therapy, community service, and peer mentorship. We also provide persons served with an opportunity to participate in our Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network (DEN). This network provides individuals with pre-employment training to gain professional development skills that support sustainable employment after leaving our campus. During their participation in DEN, the people we serve are able to become Dreamcatcher employees, which helps provide them with meaningful roles and services while a part of our Crestwood community.
