At Crestwood Manor Stockton, we provide 24-hour nursing care to older adults that have primary medical issues and mental health challenges that require a secure and structured setting. Programs
Crestwood Manor
Crestwood Manor Stockton provides various programs to our persons served as they seek support in their recovery. This includes a Therapeutic Recreation Program and a Special Treatment Program (STP).
The primary goal of our Therapeutic Recreation Program is to allow our residents to attain their highest level of functioning, and to promote awareness of one’s environment, social process, creativity, and dignity. Through this treatment program, emphasis is placed on sensory stimulation and sensory awareness. Our ultimate goal is to combat regression and provide hope for improvement.
Our Special Treatment Program (STP) is designed for residents that have a primary psychiatric diagnosis along with medical concerns. Our STP unit applies a socialization modality with a recovery focus that supports residents in improving their basic living skills, increasing their personal responsibility, and helping prepare them to return to an appropriate community living arrangement. This unit is licensed by the California Department of Health Care Services.
Both programs are accompanied by extensive activity opportunities. Among the many activities offered are exercise programs, cooking classes, as well as offsite outings to the movies, athletic events, and local community events, such as concerts in the park. We strive to provide opportunities for our residents to maintain the active lifestyles that enriched their lives prior to residing at our campus.

At Crestwood Manor Stockton, we practice an interdisciplinary approach to mental health care by employing a diverse team of professionals who specialize in the care and treatment of the unique needs of each person served. Our interdisciplinary team includes physicians, psychiatrists, licensed nursing personnel, social services, dietary staff and select consulting staff who all participate in the individual plan of care for each person served; this ensures the highest level of care for our residents.
Many persons served stay at our campus long-term and enjoy consistent caregivers and a sense of belonging in our supportive community. At Crestwood Manor Stockton, assisting people in defining their own path of recovery and helping them achieve wellness is our highest priority, and a process that we find extremely rewarding.
