After a two-day training that was focused on creating violence and coercion-free environments, Crestwood develops a corporate plan to support the elimination of coercive treatment throughout all of their campuses.

Bakersfield Bridge
Crestwood Bakersfield launches the Bridge Program, an Adult Residential Facility (ARF) that provides enhanced services to 15 persons served who require increased structure and life skills training.
DECEMBER
Hope Center
Hope Center opens at Crestwood Vallejo, the company's first Residential Care Facility for Elderly (RCFE). This program supports independence, provides persons served with health and wellness resources, helps individuals manage physical and behavioral problems, and promotes recovery and community re-integration.
2010
Environment Initiative
Crestwood introduces quality improvement processes and best practices to create Trauma-Informed Environments at their campuses. These new therapeutic spaces feature soothing paint colors, serenity rooms, libraries, living rooms, comfort rooms, and dining rooms.

Crestwood's American River Residential Services opens a Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF), the second PHF among Crestwood's campuses. This 16-bed acute care unit assists adults experiencing a mental health crisis by providing a safe, secured, comfortable setting and immediate access to psychiatric and social services.

Eureka Courtyard Community
Courtyard Community opens at Crestwood Eureka, the second Residential Care Facility for Elderly (RCFE) among Crestwood's campuses.

Crestwood Bakersfield launches their second Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF), the third PHF among Crestwood campuses. This 16-bed program is dedicated to restoring a sense of hope and self-empowerment for persons served.

Trauma-Informed Care Initiative
Crestwood adopts the Trauma-Informed Care Approach Initiative to ensure all of their operations, treatment programs, employment, and community relationships are viewed through a trauma-informed lens.

Crestwood San Jose launches a Psychiatric Health Facility (PHF). This PHF is the fourth among Crestwood's campuses and is designed to support persons served who require stabilization at a time of acute psychiatric crisis.

Crestwood launches their Heart Healthy Diet Initiative and hires a culinary specialist to empower persons served by supplementing their recovery with healthy meals.
