Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers

Crestwood’s Mental Health Rehabilitation Centers (MHRCs) provide psychosocial rehabilitation programs in secure, residential settings with a focus on brief lengths of stay. During their residency, persons served participate in independent life skills training; behavior intervention; vocational and pre-vocational training; self-advocacy; peer counseling; case management; Crestwood’s Wellness Recovery Action Plan (WRAP) program; and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

The mission of the MHRC program is to restore a sense of hope, empowerment, community/natural support inclusion, and realized potential in each persons served, as well as psychiatric stabilization.

At our MHRCs, community reintegration and dual recovery are key tenets. Community reintegration is designed for those persons served who need help developing some of the basic life skills that will assist them when returning to their communities. We accomplish this through classes, therapy, community service and peer mentorship. Many persons served participate in our Dreamcatchers Empowerment Network pre-employment training that enables them to become Dreamcatchers employees and provides them with meaningful roles and services to the community.
